Isn’t that an oxymoron?
The article is about a small number of congressmembers with speech and hearing disabilities.
Not the large number with crippling mental handicaps.
Using the term ‘handicap’ implies limitations out of their control, which I don’t think is true. For most of them the more accurate term would be ‘willfully ignorant.’
Members of congress doing their jobs?
Yeah sure. Just like how politicians’ high wages, plush healthcare, and privileged lifestyles have been paving a path for higher minimum wage, universal healthcare, and freedom for the oppressed. Their privilege is actually not our gain. Especially not sleazo fetterman.
