While looking up warranty info, I stumbled upon the ifixit stuff and planned on following their guide, so I’m at least good there.
I didn’t try because there were a couple ribbony clip things on top of it and I didn’t feel comfortable removing them, but I’ll try that next chance I get.
If you’re talking about battery recalibratiom, which is the first thing I found, I don’t think I can. Any post I see on it says to drain the battery as the first step, but I don’t have a clue whether it’s using any battery power while unplugged right now. So I’d have to hope the battery is draining and hope when I plug it in that it wouldn’t be saying it’s at full charge.
Edit:
I’ll have to quickly look and see if it’s under warranty. I’ve had it for less than a yearso it’s possible, but I don’t know if the refurbished ones come with warranty like the new ones. Will definitely look into that.
I don’t usually play games with friends, so I just use whatever pair I currently have available. Right now it’s just a cheap enough pair of wired over the ear skull candy headphones. Don’t know how good they’d be for things like audio calls that go on for extended periods of time, but they’ve been pretty good to me so far.
Speaking of that movie franchise, I would love to believe that the original ugly Sonic was an intentional thing they did just for that trailer to hype up the movie by spreading it because nothing spreads quicker online anymore than ridicule and hate online. But knowing that it’s Paramount, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that was the actual design they were originally going with and thought it would fly.
I think the game I’ve probably had the most fun with throughout the year and not including games I’ve recently gotten over the past month or two would have to be a 3 way tie between Balatro, Peglin, and Backpack Heroes. Balatro barely hangs on there, though, do to the boredom of playing it for long enough it’s starting to get a little boring.
The Sims. It’s an affront to God that a human gets to play God if they’re not a billionaire or religious Christian leader.
Spore. That game is another affront to God because it teaches the harmful idea that creatures can change through evolution, which goes against God because He created all creatures and they have never ever changed and obviously look the exact same as they did when he created the Earth 6k years ago.
Mortal Kombat on SNES. Hilary Clinton said it’s a super realistic violent video game and since then there has never been anything near as violent. That game is the most violent game to ever exist and there is nothing that will ever top it.
And finally, the worst game of all:

Pretty sure I have never bought a wallet myself. Out of the 2 wallets I’ve ever really had as far as I’m aware, they’ve been not necessarily gifts but were definitely bought for me.
Just got Legend of Spyro: Dawn of The Dragon working on RPCS3 last night on steam deck. Absolutely love that trilogy, even if I did play the games in reverse order. Only problem is how I cannot properly save and need to save state any time I wanna save. Hope I can reload those save states easily from the steam game mode thing.
Other than that, played through a short Christmas themed side story VN for Brok the Investigator called “Natal Tail” last night. Short, simple, expanded a little bit of world lore, and was in general a fun enough experience. Didn’t have voice acting, but it was more than okay without it.
The fact that for less than $100 you could get a refurbished OLED model with the same amount of storage as highest storage LCD model (512GB) is insane. If the OLED model was out and had verified refurbished models on sale back when I bought my deck, I would have absolutely done it. Not upgrading any time soon if I can help it since I love my deck, but damn it would’ve been cool to have the OLED model.
I don’t know much about android handhelds or anything, but I feel like Mindustry on F-droid could be a fun game. No idea if the device is touchscreen, nor if there are physical controls whether they’ll work natively.
Thank goodness I don’t live in an area with the wrong timezone, assuming grey is clear.
Don’t play it much anymore, but the original Borderlands on xbox360.
At least I was correct that the red one was some form of BSD. Gonna have to look up plan9, though. Don’t think I’ve heard of that one.
I’m pretty sure I understand what the red one is, but what’s the other supposed to represent?
If I were a teacher in that state, I would definitely hide it somewhere where students never look if they don’t have rules on where it has to be placed. That, or if a student vandalized it, I would pretend not to see it and when asked why it’s vandalized, just play dumb.
I can imagine that in the worst case scenario, company xyz pays millions to gøøgle to have its phone call scamming AI look out for anything that could be taken as even the most mild criticism and cut off your call. That, or the AI randomly cuts out the call because it hallucinates you saying bad things.
How long until they kill this because they see that they could potentially make even a penny more per user by shoving AI down your throat completely?
Tried plugging it in directly to the charger that came with it for a while and still didn’t work. That was one thing I tried after looking up videos that didn’t help at all. Might try again considering I don’t know how long I left it plugged in.
