Republican women are no different than Republicans generally: they think the rules are for everyone else.
They aren’t going to be affected because they are special. And Christian. After all, God is behind them!
See, if brown and/or poor people would just accept JEBUS into their hearts, they too would know the love that a child would provide! God only hurts sluts. He would never do that to a god fearing woman.
I read this in the voice of Seth Myers doing Trump.
Or Stephen Colbert doing Trump.
The words are too coherent to hear them as Trump.
And some Muslims and parks.
😦
Well…yeah. But brown people will suffer.
So it’s all good.
I’m honestly very surprised that site is still around. Like digg.
I agree with you, generally.
The hard part is convincing every other alt-right winger. They aren’t convinced by research and facts.
Ironically, it’s their feelings that matter more and since they “feel” like indoctrination is happening, it must be true.
“The damn libs must have given her fake curriculums.”
Or “She just got bought by the deep state.”
Or “Now SHE’S going to indoctrinate the kids!”
I remember the transition from plain-text emails to HTML emails. I fought tooth and nail to keep my email fully plain-text because it offered almost 70-80% storage savings. This was when email quotas were measured in megabytes.
Then Gmail came along and made HTML the standard email because they offered 2 GBs of space.
The rest is history.
Make no mistake: Republicans are doing this because they can see their polls are waning. They haven’t learned shit. They are still moving forward with Project 2025 and are taking steps to make sure that Trump “wins” in November.
Their majority is waning and they know if they lose more members, the Democrats will have a majority going into the election.
If they had balls, they’d out the speaker. But they know that in order to keep their power, they need to be pragmatic.
Greene does not have that trait.
The main issue isn’t necessarily the ethics of this.
It’s that the Republicans and the Democrats have different bases.
Biden doing this would likely alienate moderate democrats, with many in the house/senate voting to support any impeachment inquiry. The same is not true for any Republican today.
Their base has literally been “At least it’s not a democrat.”
The House and the GOP know exactly what they are doing. They passed a repeal of Obamacare something like 80 times in Obama’s last few months in office and then didn’t dare pass one while Trump was there.
This is political theater meant to rile up the base.
