Nope. I don’t talk about myself like that.

  • He has a point though… OVERALL noise was only suppressed 2db. It’s only 12db in a specific frequency. EVERY article has more or less ONLY stated the 12db value. It seems more and more these days that you just have to assume that the article headline is at best mostly false, or obscenely misleading.

2db overall… is kind of fucking pointless. I mean… as someone afflicted with hearing problems I know that every db matters. But all this hubbub for something that should just be found, then implemented without all this fanfare… the general public will not care about this, yet I’ve seen 3 articles on it for some reason.

And most normal people don’t understand the logarithmic nature of the db scale anyway. Every 3 db is technically a doubling in power. But it takes 10db for our perception to halve/double.

  • Oh it’s a decent time killer. I don’t really do mobile games. I only did this one strictly because of the nostalgia (Original on library computers in high school sort of thing) and because it was on a sale. I haven’t regretted the purchase and they don’t make the in app purchases super necessary. Overall I’d give it a thumbs up. I don’t do any of the multiplayer stuff either.

And I don’t know anything about Netflix in regards to td6… I did see that Mr.Beast did a sponsorship with them…

  • I’m primarily a PC gamer… The only game on my phone is Bloons TD6. Which I open maybe once a month.

But why not use the computer that’s literally in front of me rather than settling for the lesser experience?

Note: I should clarify, I don’t have a Tesla and don’t care for them at all. I just view this feature as probably one of the better ones.

  • It’s just a computer… Why not? As long as it cannot be running while the car is driving I don’t particularly see an issue.

Would be great if I could fire up a game while waiting in cell parking at the airport for my family that comes into town for example. Gotta remember that this isn’t new. We had minivans with built in n64s and shit before.

  • the Google map has so much less detail

Google maps also has bad data for many places. My home address is the wrong street name. Google maps says it’s “Drive”, when it’s “Court”. It’s been that way for 22 years apparently. Google is the only one that has it wrong. I’ve submitted 10 tickets to fix it, they keep denying the change.

Waze, Fixed it myself. OSM, did have it wrong about a year ago (before I moved in) was corrected when apparently a current OSM board member imported a cluster of addresses from the National Address Database.

Apple has it right. Bing maps has it right… Every other source has it right. Google maps just sucks.

What’s worse is that many companies use google’s dataset for address validation. Since my address doesn’t “exist” according to the omniscient google, I’m just screwed when I enter my address on those sites.
