Nah, most subreddits are the same. All the top threads in each community are usually pictures, memes, or news. It’s hard to find discussions unless you specifically search for not so popular posts.
My biggest concern with the increasing number of people is that any interesting threads will be buried beneath memes, pictures, and similar content, like it happens on Reddit.
I already am perfectly fine tailoring my media to my preferences.
The only way you can tailor the media to your preferences nowadays is by creating images using a program like stable diffusion, all other media may fit or not but it’s not been created according to your preferences, this AGI would create the media just for you.

That just depends on when you adopt it; personally, I would prefer to have some privacy, so I would use it when it can be run locally, allowing me to have more control over my information.

I find very frustrating in Reddit that I often find controversial posts more interesting than top posts because the more users there are in a subreddit the more memes get upvoted and everything else gets downvoted.
