I don’t usually use headphones with my deck, but I’ve paired my Pixel A-series buds to it and they work pretty well for discord calls.
True of most 3d prints unfortunately, although ultimately it comes down to your printer.
The keyboard is a Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s.
Not everyone needs a steam deck. I know a couple people who have them and barely use them.
But for people like me, it’s been a massive improvement to how often I’m able to play.
Definitely feels like it.
The steam deck’s suspend functionality really gives some crazy session count numbers.
I didn’t think you should downgrade permanently, just was suggesting it as a temporary troubleshooting step for narrowing it down.
Most of the docks have an Ethernet port. But a lot of new deck owners won’t have a dock and may not have a USB-C Ethernet adapter lying around.
What kind of issues do you have?
You might try disabling some wifi 7 features as well and see if that fixes things. Different routers will have different settings, but some will let you change the wireless mode from BE (wifi 7) to AX (wifi 6) or to AC (wifi 5). If you go to one of the older wifi modes and you still have issues, it may be a defective wi-fi card in the deck.
I’ll try unpinning and repining it, maybe that will fix it.
Here’s the sopuli link to it.
The original poster of it was a lemmy.world user, and I’ve heard reports of some Lemmy instances having federation issues with .world lately. If you’re instance is one of those having issues, you may not be able to see the post locally, but I’m not sure on the full details.
Forgot to read the pinned post my apologies for the redundant post
That was going to be my first suggestion, but I see you beat me to it.
That post hasn’t been updated in some years though, so this post could be a worthwhile chance to discuss new resources that should be added.
You can run games at 720p and upscale to 1080p. I’m assuming that’s how people will want to run any of the more demanding games with this mod.
I believe it has to do with availability of pre-existing screens. I don’t think a startup can afford original deck exclusive OLED panels, these were probably mass produced for another device and are just being refitted for the Deck.
It’s pretty common, many immutable distros come with it pre installed as the primary way to install new software.
Thanks for sharing. Another valid option is Distrobox, which lets you permanently install Debian/Fedora/Arch/etc packages.
I’m not used to hearing good things about EA, but good for them.
I get what you’re saying, but the sentence order definitely sounds like you needed to upgrade to 1TB of storage in order to play bigger games like Vampire Survivors.
Honestly I think you’ll have to get it RMA’d.
