Superman has always been boring since he is so powerful it’s not like there are situations where he doesn;t just overpower everyone by just being powerful.
Superman is infinitely more interesting than the 37 Batman iterations we’ve gotten over the last 60 years.
The only time Superman gets any drama is when people he cares about are in danger.
I’ve always preferred the Dr Manhatten approach to all powerful characters. Why would they care about us ants?
Yeah he’s pretty lame as a character to build a story around.
The whole point of Superman when it’s good is restraint and decision making, even while completely overpowering the enemy. You’re like the US military, you could just nuke Afghanistan. But the world after that would be so much worse, so what do you do instead?
The ones where he’s the villain are especially good. Explored in some Superman releases, and also the whole premise of The Boys.
But I fucking loved Smallville for a while, I don’t even care if you have issues with it.
Good god how many times will they milk the same IPs over and over and over
Hope it flops hard
Hope it flops hard
Why?
Milking same IP Just how many there are Superman media
Also Batman one
unoriginal uninspired meaningless nostalgia slop
So that the suits stop regurgitating the same stuff all the time.
I was a fan of the Snyderverse but suspect James Gunn will do a better job at forming a cohesive franchise. Looking forward to this movie.
I’m interested in what his superhero movies look like without the ragtag group vibe.
“Just one more reboot, bro. Please, this time we will smash the box office. Plz, plz plz.”
“We learned our lesson, Superman wasn’t enough of an objectivist. Now he charges for his services!”
"Is only a small pre-sequal part 3, bro’
Fighting for lies, injustice… the american way
I want to see a superman movie where he decides to fight white collar crime or starts kidnapping billionaires.
Red Son, but Pa Kent was a radical demsoc.
